Abstract - The fact-finding survey on the big data of the three Italian independent authorities offers a detailed description of the market power of the giants of the web in digital markets and the effects on competition, pluralism of information and on the confidentiality of personal data. The versatility of personal data is giving rise to completely new relationships and market dynamics that pose certainties, but also problematic questions.
