Le indicazioni dell’OCSE per un’AIR di successo: considerazioni a margine del nuovo volume della serie Best Practice Principles for Regulatory Policy

di Eleonora Cavalieri
Abstract - On February, the 25th, the OECD has published the final version of the Best Practice Principles for Regulatory Policy – Regulatory Impact Assessment, which is intended to provide a synthetic tool for better designing and implementing RIA systems. The comparison of the final version with the draft for public consultation shows a greater stress on the importance of applying insights from behavioural science and economics and of defining sound data governance strategies. Moreover, with regard to the monitoring, evaluation and improvement of RIA, the report underlines the necessity of setting out – from the early stage of the RIA – the monitoring and evaluation framework, describing how regulatory performance will be evaluated and anticipating the necessary data requirements.
